Silently illuminated by the heavens. Drifting away from my home, the familiar sound of radio chatter fades away into endless white noise of static electricity. White dwarves, Red Dwarves, Hypergiants, and Supergiants slowly move out of view. Runaway stars. The sovereignty of the cosmos, the highest authority; the universe is conscious. Living, breathing, seeing.
My name is Mikael Alexandrovich. I am an explorer, a highwayman, a pioneer, a mender. I am a Cosmonaut. And, what was intended to be a return flight, a uniform mission, turned out to be something very different.
